 EXPERIENCE AS A TUTOR

1998 - Present 

I began working as a private tutor during my student teaching experience in Greensburg, PA (Hempfield High School) in the fall of 1998. Since then, I have worked with over 60 clients over the last 10 years - approximately 4-6 students per year.  My main focus in private tutoring is to break down difficult concepts into easier step-by-step concepts.  I also firmly believe in placing students in 'testing situations' to allow them to practice what it feels like when they are taking a real assessment.

 EXPERIENCE AS AN ADMINISTRATOR

In the fall of 2005, I began my career in administration. I am currently a member of a wonderful administrative team where I serve as an Assistant Principal. Part of my job 

responsibilities include:

* Maintenance of the physical grounds and general upkeep of the school

I have been an adjunct professor teaching eight sessions a semester in Shenandoah's Career Switcher program for six semesters. All eight sessions focus on classroom management and current teaching practices for adults switching from a current career into the teaching field.

 EXPERIENCE IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR

2000-2002

I spent two years working as a sales executive for the Internet division of Worldcom.  In this role, I learned valuable business, presentation, and management skills.
